I am somewhat of a newbie to the automation end. I am more of a burg/fire end. One day I will invest in some software for the automation. The M1 was the first phase and the insteon is the next.
So far I am into this for about 2K or so with all of the smoke detectors and Co's etc. on top of the M1 and a few keypads. Buying the ethernet and serial modules this week.
This stuff gets real expensive and addictiing LOL
