Is 4 channel hub really necessary?

I have 1-wire series parallel network with 30 temperature sensors. There are 6 lines in my solution. Lines are joined to one point(exactly 3 points , GND,DATA, Vcc). I use non-parasitic power supply 5V.

4 channel hub from Hobby Boards only combines cables to one point and provides power supply for 1-wire network.
What is difference between my solution and solution with 4 channel hub. I think that 4 channel hub is unnecessary board.
I shall happy when somebody explains me that 4 channel hub is really necessary.

If your solution is working then a Hub is not necessary. But the Hub can turn on a single branch at a time so that not all the branches are connected to the 1-Wire network at the same time which can reduce/eliminate reflections and lead to a more stable 1-Wire network.
