Source for barrel connectors

I want to hardwire in some of my low voltage power appliances like the router, my TS07 ect ect. I don't really want to cut off the barrel connectors on the original power sources so I'm trying to find a good source for these connectors online. My local rat shack only has cheap solder on or crimp on stuff that doesn't work very well. I'm looking for something like this with pigtails.. I need a couple different sizes but i am having a hard time finding what I want. Any leads?

So far I have gotten lucky and ended up using connectors from old power supplies that matched the specs, but I definitely would love to find a good source as well.

If you don't mind my asking, what's going to be on the other end of those connectors?

I'm curious to see what you're hardwiring these to.

As am I. What do you do for non-12v items, such as the 7.5v Aprilaire Protocol Adapter, or my 15v router?

I'm just hooking up to the Elk-P412. The TS07 is 12v but I also want to hook up the XEP and my router. All 12v.

FYI, you can use 12V to safely power the W800RF as well, I have been doing this for a long time now, and is yet another adapter you can eliminate.

I got most of mine from RatShack. Not the best prices, but easily available since
the store was just down the road.

Most of my devices used what was labeled as size "M" connectors (don't remember actual mm size).

Hi guys,

Does using an alternate power source like that void any warrenty or anything or cause any code issues?

I guess if something blows up and it's under warranty it's hard for the manufactures to see if it was conencted to the OEM power source or not.

How do you solve the issue of many different voltages for different components?
