OOOOUUUUCH!!!!!!

We got the kids one for christmas, so far with many hours of, bowling, basebell, tennis.

And no injuries to anyone, but I certainly can see how easily it could happen.

there was a news story last night about Wii remotes breaking and shattering TVs. Apparrently people are getting over zealous with the remote, not using the wrist strap, and literally THROWING the remote into televisions ... :)

Big family Christmas, and my cousin got his kids a Wii, so I got to experience it. I've never been a console fan, but for that I'd make an exception. Simply a wonderful device. Lots of fun and really intuitive. If I can find some kind of "exercise" wii game (more than just the sports package), maybe I can justify that purchase...maybe a housewarming gift for us once we move in. heh.

We bought it just for parties (no kids at home) and it's a blast. Boxing will wear you out and we also bought Dance Dance Revolution for exercise - WOW it does give you a workout.

The UI on this game is fantastic - it's no wonder they have been in short supply for the last year.

So far bowling is the kids favorite.

The baseball and golf I find pretty interesting.

We need to go find some other games besides what it came with <_< .

We played Lego star wars, the complete saga (only got through episode 2 before we had to leave). It is great fun, alone or with others, and whether you were a fan of the episodes 1-3 or not, they're quite clever.
