I was concerned it was like that stupid "Who's Who" book that I paid $50 for back in high school (in the late 80's); man whatta scam, pay me $$ and i'll tell everyone you're cool. That was nearly as dumb as getting into Home Automation for a hobby...
Can you add a 6th star for sites who take the time to make sure every product has a quality image associated with it. Also, for sites that provide manuals and detailed product spec sheets. A site with lots of product reviews always helps too.

How about the ability to know if something is in stock before ordering?
How about a public "whois" listing that makes sense?
I am not so sure about the single domain for everything requirement. Fry's/Outpost wouldn't qualify then and I have no beef with them.
It also appears that this is for resellers, not manufacturers, correct? But if the manufacturer sells direct, then things get confused.
I am planning on adding the contact information in the first post of the member's thread, which would address your whois suggestion. As for manufacturers, in almost all cases, you can trust the manufacturer. This program is more about protecting cocooners from vendors with bad or no history, while supporting the vendors which have gone out of their way to support their customers.
