Just got my harmony 890 remote and I like it so far, my understanding is that it can directly control Z-Wave devices.. For now, I just want to control a single lamp in the house to see if the remote can turn it on / off.. For this to happen what do I need? and where to purchase..

So I ended up ordering the Harmony 890 series and so far so good.. The buttons are a little clunky to work with but I like it so far.. I got it for a realllly good price so we will see.. the 890 also supports RF which is kinda neat and might prove beneficial.. the web way to configure it...

I used to use AutoIT at work, but when they went to version 3, it got overly complicated to do easy stuff.. I use www.autohotkey.com all the time, and it is great.. It basically continued AutoIT's stuff in a simpler way..
