Just wondering if anyone has used this service yet and would love to hear about your experience. I am interested in it for the notifications as ELK native email is lacking. The arming/zone status features are useless to me as I am using Ekeypad.

When a entry perimitter door is opened while the panel is in STAY mode, it still has the entry delay which is currently 60secs. Should STAY be instant or a really short delay? How do i change the delay for STAY? Thanks Philip

Is there a way to keep these two buttons lit all the time. Right now they only light when you press them, My father doesnt see too well. He can see the number keys as they stay lit all the time but not the exit and stay keys. Thanks Philip

I have a hum/buzz on all my outdoor speakers. I have tried a ground loop isolator that plugs into the rca connectors. If i disconnect the rca cables coming from my media server going to the amps, the buzz goes away. If i plug amp input into something else,, like the rca outs on my dvd player...

I programmed my ademco vista 20p panel and disabled all the zones not being used but my keypad still shows trouble with zones 5 and 6 even though they are set as disabled. I connected to the panel via the compass software to verify that they are set to disabled..... any ideas? Thanks Philip

I have a false alarm maybe every other week and its becoming a problem. How can i program the system to go into alarm mode only when 2 zones are tripped with X amount of time? I thought i read somewhere this was possible but i forget where. Thanks Philip

I had a wireless glass break trigger my alarm last night but there was no glass break... arent false alarms on glass breaks rare?? When there is a burglar alarm, it will show event 1003 in the log stating burglar alarm, then at the same time will have event 1146.....why is this? Thanks! Philip

I have verizon fios. The mail SMTP server doesnt not use ssl but does require authentication. I have put in the smtp server as stated on verizon's website and put in my username and password, but when i try and send the test email from the ELK, i dont receive anything. Verizon uses port 587...

I have an Elk m1. It has a couple of 2-wire smokes listed as compatible but none are what i am looking for. I want smokes with a heat sensor and sounder. Does anyone know of any that will work with the elk m1? Will the dsc or esl smokes work? Thanks Philip
