Any ideas as to why the zone chime would stop working on both of my keypads?  Keypads are audible when a button is pressed, but no chime when a zone is violated even though the chime is enabled on the zones.

Trying to bypass an exterior door in my Elk M1 on a certain day between a certain time.  The zone is set to "Burglar Perimeter Instant" and below is the rule I have for it but it is not working.  What am I doing wrong?

I tried to connect the PCS pim-e to my Elk M1 via the database hub tonight. However, when I connected the pim-e my keypad instantly lost power. What am I doing wrong? I've verified my wiring and everything seems correct.

I know the smoke detector issue has been beat to death on the board, but I haven't noticed anyone mentioning the Gentex line of products.  Will the following smoke/co detector not work with 120 and an alarm panel?  According to the spec sheet it has contacts that are designed for that purpose.  ...

Is there an easy way to mount an Elk M1 in a 28" Leviton can?  None of the holes seem to line up, so I'm assuming you must drill for everything.  Anyone have any recomendations?

Does the Elk M1KPNAV touchscreen play any sounds or speak any voice commands?  Also, has anyone found a creative way to hide a speaker behind the keypad?

In the middle of renovating my house and I have decided to wire for a future Elk M1 install.  I plan on using the Elk touchscreen keypad and currently have Cat6 ran from keypad locations to wiring closet.  Would you guys run any other type of wire for future-proofing?
