In case you wern't on the E-mail waiting list, Sage TV has gotten a new shipment of HD extenders in stock, and is selling them on their website.

I purchased mine within minutes of receiving the E-mail.

I thought I had done good with order #28098 Date: 02/27/2008 10:18:38 PDT, but this rat bastard on the sage forums by the handle of electron had Order Number : 28093 Placed : 02/27/2008 10:17:05 PDT.

Funny thing is that by 3:00pm, it was up to order #28321 (225 orders in 5 hours), although i'm sure some of them were for just the s/w.

Thats just bizzare.

When that happened yesterday I was in chat and I actually got out my phone. Dug up your number and had my thumb on send, then thought about you being on pre-order therefore probably not concerned.

It was pure luck too. I just got back from lunch, and my spidey sense tingled, so went to check out the site, and I still couldn't add it to the cart. For some reason, I refreshed the site again a minute later, and there it was, the add button! Sorry IVB

I ordered at 1:10 PM central time and have yet to get a tracking number. Have all of you guys received tracking numbers? I'm wonder if choosing ground shipping has put me in the back of the list?

I selected ground shipping as well, and received my tracking # within 2 hours, but as of 1 minute ago, it was still in 'billing' phase, meaning nothing has been shipped out yet. So I wouldn't worry too much until people are reporting that the goods are actually physically on a UPS truck.

Still nothing here and no reply to my question at [email protected] so I'm waiting till 6PM tonight and canceling my credit card charge. Bummer, I waited this long only for this.

Edit. I just received the email. Scheduled delivery 3-5-2008

Why wouldn't you wait until you are able to get a hold of someone at Sage? I'm sure they are swamped today.

Also, considering that I just got my confirmation, I would give them to at least tomorrow to get you yours. If you cancel now, you will probably not be able to get one for another while.

I just received the email while you were most likely typing this message. I'd waited so long I didn't want to wait till they ran out again for months.

Question since I a noob on this stuff. I have SageTV running on my server an recoding HD. Now to use the new extender is it as simple as plugging it in and telling it where to look for files?

2 steps:
1) On Extender, on bootup it will scan for sage servers. Once it finds it, you just gotta press ok.
2) On server, install the license key that you got emailed to you. "Install License" is one of the Start.SageTV menu options if I recall.
