That takes me back... that was 3 years ago, in my previous house - my first automated house. That doorbell worked amazingly well - especially when coupled with an Elk124 Recordable Voice module - I could program different doorbell sounds depending on the season, along with other fun projects.
(Un)fortunately I moved a year ago - into a newer bigger house with more to automate... and that part I've had for 3 years laying around just got set out to be installed (wires are run and all the other work is done).
I would post in the Wanted To Buy, or seriously consider that version that BraveSirRobbin posted with a simple <$3 contact sensor - the hookups would be insanely easy.
