I stopped at my local Radio Shack this evening and they had a few of the new-style DS10A's (RS #49-1001) on clearance for $9.97. These are smaller and don't have the reed switch on a wire (it's inside the unit). It also has two screw terminals to attach a second switch to which will send a second open/close code.
