United States of America (Press Release) January 8, 2009 -- INSTEON Home Automation Training and Certification Available to SmarthomePRO Dealers
Irvine, CA - December 16, 2008 - SmartLabs, Inc. is offering Training and Certification courses for INSTEON® lighting and appliance controls. Two different courses are available to SmarthomePRO Dealers at a cost of $49.00 per session. The SHP 101 course is for dealers new to INSTEON while the SHP 201 course offers advanced INSTEON training for dealers. Classes are currently being scheduled at various locations around the country, and at all industry show where SmarthomePRO is present.
The SHP 101 and SHP 201 Training and Certification courses will be taught be Steve Lee, an industry professional with over 20 years of experience working with home automation. Upon completion of the SHP 101 class, dealers will have a greater familiarity with INSTEON and a general knowledge of how to use and install the products on small jobs. The SHP 201 course is available to dealers that have completed SHP 101 and already purchased a starter kit or completed some INSTEON installations. After completing SHP 201 dealers will have an advanced knowledge of INSTEON linking and programming, including scenes, timer functions, installation and selling tips. Additionally, dealers that complete SHP 201 will be recognized as a Certified INSTEON Installer and will be eligible for prioritized referrals from Smarthome customers.
