HVAC - M1, Aprilaire 8870 and 8062

Hello,

I was wondering what is the ELK M1 interoperability with the 8870 thermostat that has a temperature and humidity sensor module attached to it. Is it feasible to monitor the module temperature and humidity with M1 and action rules according to those reading?

Eg, I would like M1 to monitor the outdoor temperature and enable/disable my second stage heating.

Or, depending on the outside temperature and the inside humidity, I would like M1 to action my humidifier relay.

For the decade(+) that the M1 has been around it seem odd that there is so little information about what devices are supported and what functions of the devices are supported.   Normally you would think that all functions of a "supported" device would be supported but with ELK you always have to question this.   And yet there are very few answers when asked.  It seem like you just have to shell out the money and try it yourself to find out.
