Google maps - how to tell date of pictures?

Does anyone know how to tell the date a picture was taken in Google Maps?

Google Earth 5.0 shows an Imagery date tag at the bottom of the window. Not a direct solution, but same source data.

Yeah...I look at the property changes I do on a continual basis to figure out when the last pic was taken. For my location...it's now a 1 1/2 years old

thanks. I updated to the current version and it appears to show the date of the picture. That's cool. My fear in updating was that I might lose features..... as I did a couple of years ago when I lost the ability to use the oblique view.
