The Elk relays should work great for this.

Should not be an issue. You should be able to go 165' at 1080P.   Although the Xantech should work, is there a reason you aren't using the emitters that came with the unit?   If you want to talk to someone that is really good at this stuff, call our office and ask for Brian.

  Yes, and stay away from HLC. Upstart gives you many more options. Also make sure all devices are set to transmit status.

Yes, you didn't say how they were programmed. Make sure to use Upstart and the links there and you will be fine.
