If you are off grid, you almost certainly will have propane for heat and hot water. At that point, the Bloom Box gets rid of the electric company completely. It is also most likely cheaper to install and maintain than solar or wind. The big question mark is, how much does it cost to "fuel it"...

I'll be there for my 5th time this year. Dinner with Cocooner's is always a highlight of the show. Count me in.

Here is a device that works. I have one connecting CQC and my URC MSC-400 to my AV Receiver. Both have complete control and feedback. It is a bit pricy at $75, but it does the job.

Friday dinner sounds like a good plan. I arrive late Tuesday and have classes most of the day Wednesday, so I'll look for fellow CCers when I get to the show floor.

I would prefer a Friday group diner. There is another party on Thursday that I would like to attend.
