Anyone have luck finding outdoor rated wired PIR motion detectors that they would recommend?  I have some nice Bosch PIR sensors but they are not intended for outdoor.  They will be up on an eve, so I might be able to get by with them.  Just looking to see what others have done. 

I see various options out there for vehicle detection and I am interested in a hardwire probe.  Looks like Cartell and EMX are the two most prevalent options.  My driveway is 500-600ft  so I expect that I will need a 500ft probe.  What I am not sure of when looking at the Cartell models is there...

I installed a temp sensor last week and it has been working fine.  Today I changed the type from ER Outdoor Temp to ER Temperature to see if I could get the low setpoint to trip the alert.  When I tried writing the config to the controller, PC Access seemed to lock up.  I waited 15 minutes or so...

Just wanting to see what others are seeing as far as failure rates on their GE Z-wave switches. Please also share how many switches you have and whether they were the dimmers or on/off type. Example- I have 25 switches both on/off and dimmers and only the dimmers have failed.

I have a Panja amp that apparently runs using the Landmark Phastlink data bus. Does anyone know anything about how I can get this thing controlled via RS-232. Is the protocol available anywhere?

Ok, I have ran into a problem where I have a GE z-wave dimmer switch next to a ceiling fan switch in the same box. The problem is when the lights are on and I turn the fan on/off the lights turn off. I was able to isolate the problem as being noise related by installing and X-10 XPF filter on...
