    OP2 and Xantech MR88

It is not possible to adjust the MR88 bass, treble, and balance through HAI programming. This is something that would have to be added to the HAI controller firmware and user interfaces, and I don't see this happening right now.

    Controller model confirmation

Based on the 100504-01 part number on the EPROM chip, the controller board is an OnQ HMS 1100. This can be upgraded to an HAI OmniPro II with an OmniPro II firmware upgrade chip.

    ELK/HAI UL info

All, As Digger pointed out, the best way to evaluate whether a specific product from ANY manufacturer is UL-listed is to search the UL.com website. I can assure you that that our security products have been SUBMITTED to UL for testing and LISTED by UL. There are numerous UL standards for...

RadioRA2 and hai or elk, any working installs?

Joe, I'm glad you got it to work, but you really only need four conductors. I suspect that your initial cable was miswired somehow.

RadioRA2 and hai or elk, any working installs?

Make sure the serial port jumper is in the 232 position. Make sure the connector on your wiring is oriented correctly so that the wiring is not reversed. Perhaps use Windows terminal to monitor the commands from the controller or to control the main repeater directly.

RadioRA2 and hai or elk, any working installs?

Have you written the configuration from PC Access to the controller? Did you set the desired units to RadioRA2? When you send a command do you see the LEDs on the controller flicker? Have you tried using the cable supplied with the serial connectivity kit?

HAI OMNI Pro II Automation code

Depending on exactly what you want to accomplish and the lighting system you are using, you could set the override flag on for a certain time every time you pressed the rocker switches on the wall switch. The rocker switches would let you changfe the setting to your liking, and setting the...

HAI OMNI Pro II Automation code

madburg, The "EVERY 5 MINUTES" will not place a burden on the controller. It is simply a trigger that fires once every 5 minutes, which causes things to be checked. You could even speed this up without adding any appreciable load to the controller. If you don't want a particular device to be...

    Trouble communicating with RC-2000 thermostat

beelzerob, Here are the relay bit assignments, but things can get a little screwy because of the variety of HVAC systems out there. You should be able to figure things out from the information I provided above and these bit assignments: Bit 0: Heat/Cool Bit 1: Aux Heat Bit 2: Stage 1 Bit 3...

    Trouble communicating with RC-2000 thermostat

beelzerob, You need to query the relay status register (72) to determine the current status of the system. If bits 1, 2, and 4 are clear, the system is idle. The system is also idle if bits 0 and 2 are clear and bit 1 is set. The system is cooling if bits 0 and 1 are clear and bit 2 is set...

    Trouble communicating with RC-2000 thermostat

Make sure your software is asserting DTR and that there are no gaps between the bytes that violate the timing specifications in the protocol document. Triple check your wiring and consider using an HAI RS-201 cable. Triple check the communications settings in the thermostat.
