Recently I noticed a single light in our house was on most mornings after executing an "All Off" on the HAI. I also noticed that it wasn't responding to the off command and the HAI thought it was off.
So, today I replaced it with a different UPB switch, reprogrammed it and.. same problem. ...
I am finally getting around to adding garage door control to my HAI system. I am thinking about buying the 4 relay module, but it isn't clear how I could cleanly mount that in the same enclosure as my omni? I don't see a mounting board, based on the pictures I don't see anywhere for plastic...
Within the past week it appears my Omnipro can no longer talk to one of my Omnistat/2 RC-2000s. With no changes to either programming, setup, or wiring it now reads zero for temp and humidity, I can no longer control the temperature remotely, and it no longer notices when the security system...
I do have a whole house surge installed. Additionally, I have a relay on the same circuit, right next to it (for the fireplace blower) that has not had any issues.
It just seems peculiar that to of these relays have broken and none of my 10 others have had an issue.
If the wiring seems ok, I...
This is the second one that I have bricked, in the same location over about 3 years. At this point no LED, can't control it with UPB or the paddle. They oddly don't seem to die during usage, but at some later time.
I am using the HAI UPB Relay switch to control my fireplace. I have it...
Batwater - thanks for the video. It looks like they are 35mm which is bigger than the whiztags 30mm diameter. I probably need something in a 25mm diameter to fit.
I have been using the trigger app with tasker to fire off some automation around the house. I have a set of the whiztags that work really well except for one use case. I want to put a few tags behind some of my custom engraved light switch plates but the whiztags are slight too big. I tried...
Thanks Desert. I hadn't thought about a second network just for fans.. That is a great idea and I can bridge the two networks with Elve.
Perfect solution, I just need another PIM now :-)
I did go ahead order one and install. I have it working, but not very pleased with the way I am eating through UPB Links. It would be really nice if these switches operated just like the zwave ones and mapped a dimming percentage to a level. Would be good to have the flexibility of both links...
I posted this over in the original thread but this might be a better place to ask. Now that there is a UPB fan speed control how are people thinking about integrating it with HAI/HLC?
I have a couple of z-wave fan controls that operate on the "dimming range" to control the speed. 0 is off...
This is exciting. Has anyone set this up yet in an HAI/HLC system yet? My zwave fan controls respond to a dim command (3 speeds only), trying to figure out how this would work in an HLC style room.
Anyone have experience using the Vera with an omnipro 2? I see there is a beta plugin to emulate a the leviton vrcop 3+. I am interested in replacing with the Vera because the tooling with the Vera seems better than what you get with Leviton software (manual routes, invoking healing, etc).
I think you are going to want a hard button console at least near your main entrance. Sometimes your forget your phone at work, batteries die, power is out so wifi is dead...
VMWare Server and ESXi are two really different animals. ESXi is an enterprise grade level 0 hypervisor. From my memory you set the USB device ID of the item you want to pass through and it happens everytime that VM is started. It would not be something you selected everytime. You can also...
