Every once in a while, when I go to disarm the system, a key press will record double presses when the number is only pressed once. The keypad is the M1KP2 and the only othe thing connected is the GE compatible wireless accessory. Has anyone else seen this?

I have 3 screens, numerical keypad, a screen that shows "bypass manager, away, night, stay", and one that shows "bypass manager, vacation, night stay, and stay instant". That's it. It used to show the function keys but at some point it stopped.

Thanks for the reply.  I currently use eKeypad on my iphone for remote arm disarm and have the ELK set up to use a secure port.  I've read that I have to disable the secure port to use the isy module.  Will this make my ELK more vulnerable to the Internet?

I am using a ISY 994i to control my insteon gear and have the ELK for security.  I am also using the ELK M1 to open and close my garage door when I press a function key on a keypad or remote.  The way I did this was by wiring one of the garage remotes to one of the ELK's contacts.  It works fine...

I need to provide NextAlarm with phone numbers to call for emergency services. I called the local emergency services office and they didn't know! :lol: I'm guessing there is some 10-digit equivalent to 911?? I'm in Portland, Oregon if that helps.

Agreed! I am going to purchase the NX488's to replace all the NX487's that aren't compatible. I'm glad I tried testing them by trying to make them trip an alarm instead of just watching the red light!

I'm going to use them with the Elk receiver. They are both listed as compatible so they should both be crystal.
