    HTX Mobile Designer Software

Hey, I recently purchased a Home Theater Extender (HTX) in order to control some AV components though the IR function. Unfortunately I cannot seem to find a copy of the Mobile designer software that is used to create the GUI pages. Would anyone have a copy they could send me? Thanks, Nick

    OmniPro II Ethernet Issue

Hey; Are you able to connect to it via a serial connection? Can you change the IP of the board via the serial connection, is the port flagged in your router as a static port and not "free IP" for your DHCP to use? My router did that with a few of my 5.7e displays. Thanks, Nick

Trying to get HAI HiFi-2 Working! Almost there?

Hey; Have you figured out your VSC problem yet? Just so you know, the VSC's do not run on your ethernet network. They run on 5v dc from the Hi-Fi 2 panel. VSC Pinout 1- N/C 2- IR Enable - Low When Transmitting 3- IR Ground 4- Data - 5- Data + 6- IR 7- Ground 8- +5v DC I currently have a...

    Alternatives for 42A00-1 wireless receiver?

Hey; Just be careful, not all HAI wireless products work with the GE wireless receiver! Made that mistake! If you do switch wireless receivers you will most likely need to switch the wireless contacts. You may find the GE Interlogix receiver on ebay, that's the one I use as well as the HAI...

    HAI Dock

Hey; I'm wondering if anyone has an old HAI Dock they are looking to get rid of? Would like to setup a music server that would be fully accessible from the OmniTouch 5.7e displays. I've checked ebay but found nothing. I did find the NuvoDock but it doesn't seem to have the same...

    Aftermarket HAI Boards and Accessories

Hi; They can probably be repaired, it is strange for the crystal to just stop working. Have you verified the microprocessor has power? A large amount of the components on the board are just to create a clean 12v dc supply and to convert it to 5v dc. Do you get any signal on the Humidity or...

    OmniTouch Pro

Hey; Just one thought, have you check the windows registry for any folders for the Omnitouch Pro application? Some software programs will make a registry entry, including the software key used. It might be trying to validate the install by checking the registry and finding that the software is...

    Looking to buy RC-2000 thermostats

Hey; I've worked on a few of those thermostats. I've got 4 of them. Have you taken them apart yet? If you remove them from the case, so you can see both sides of the PCB you will most likely find that there are crystals growing on parts of the PCB. Sometimes the solder will grown crystals over...

McKinneySmart; The only reason I use the SPDT relays it for pool valve controls (Hayward or Jandy 24v motorized valves) otherwise yeah SPST works on everything else. They don't have to be driven by anything else, they are simply wired to the same output terminals of the expansion board just as...

    Omnipro network issues

Hey, Was tagged in this thread, Just so that everyone knows HAI omniPro systems and Omnitouch 5.7e displays all run at 10M not 100m. My managed Netgear POE switch was a pain to setup until I realized I wanted everything to run at 100M or greater. Once I allowed it to connect at lower speeds the...

McKinneySmart, The ribbon cable is a simple/direct 20 pin IDC (pin1 to pin1) to the relay boards, nothing fancy just kept it simple. I have a few unpopulated boards, as I only made up what I needed. But the others could be assembled. All of the boards are the same foot print so the will fit...
