    Not something I tried on an ELK panel but when I wanted to use Z-Wave sensors on my Omni panel, I had to split the output of the VRC0P to 2 separate serial ports and set the 2nd port as a standard (PROLINK on Omni) port. There may be something similar that has to be done with the M1.

    Regarding the power, the keypad bus also counts towards the 1A. How many keypads, wireless receivers, hardwired expanders, etc. do you have on the Omni?

    With the latest version of UpStart from PCS, you can program PCS devices as HLC devices as well as converting PCS devices to HLC devices. PCS is also selling a dimmer and keypad that are directly HLC compatible.

    With the 5.7e, you can do what you want with Automation Studio. You can set up your Automation Programming to trigger HAI Buttons (only used in programming) and then have the screen pop-up the camera. Worthington has an online training on how to do it on their University site.

    Not sure about the color difference but if you are using the flush box for the keypad, you can mount the speaker in it and save the wall clutter.

    You can program the complete system via the XEP, including enrolling bus modules. As wmcneil stated, wireless devices are definitely easier from the keypad.

    The self contained unit is not a problem as long as you don't think you'll need to adjust the sensitivity. Using the separate controller and probe gives you the ability to adjust sensitivity.

      Any changes to the network? Did you add a Sonos? Try unplugging the network connection and leave the door open to see if the problem still occurs.
