Yes, the main repeater will accept commands via RS-232 and will support several IP clients (I forget how many) at the same time. Each IP client needs a user name and password in the RA2 main repeater.

How about a smoke detector (optical type) in a weatherproof housing? Power it and wire the relay to a zone. You would have to do some testing in a bathroom to see if fog triggers it or not.

I have been using BlackBlaze for a few months. The initial back-up takes forever if you have a lot of data, however, there is a setting to make it go faster if bandwidth is not a concern. The ability to back-up external drives was the driving factor for me.
