Once again ... here comes an elementary question ... I'm looking to do "basic" HA stuff (turn lights/HVAC on with occupancy sensors) with either CQC or HomeSeer. I hear a LOT of people using Elk ... ... but are you using Elk AS WELL as CQC, HomeSeer or the like. And ... would I need to use Elk?

By the way ... this is AWESOME! Is there anyway to put man doors and windows on actuators, so the system could open and close them?

@Dean & znelbok: What is the language structure of CQC? Is it like Javascript, C or ...? The thing that is drawing me to HomeSeer is (it appears) that it allows for drag and drop building, but then you can dive deeper with Javascript-like coding. Thoughts?
