Amsterdam, NL - ISE 2010 - February 2nd - Booth 1I25 - VidaBox, LLC is proud to announce the new LUXv2™, the latest addition to the VidaBox family of media centers. Like its predecessor, it has an impressive list of features, such as true 1080p playback for Blu-rays, HD auto-upscaling for DVDs, optional HDMI1.3 for 7.1 lossless HD audio support, and massive, field-expandable storage.
"This biggest feature on the LUXv2™ is its expandable storage," exclaims Steven Cheung, President of VidaBox, LLC. "You can start off with as little as 2TB for 330 DVDs or 80 Blu-rays. Whenever more space is needed, simply unlock the front service panel and install a new hard drive into any one of the four (4) open drive bays in mere seconds. There's no need to open the chassis or go through complicated procedures, saving integrators and installers valuable time. LUXv2™ can store up to an impressive 10TB - enough for up to 1600 DVDs or 400 Blu-rays to handle even the biggest collections."
Powered by Windows 7, LUXv2™ adds new features like iTunes® Plus music support, while building upon other popular features enjoyed on the original LUX™, such as Blu-ray, DVD, Netflix, & IPTV playback, automatic photo slideshows, browsing music by cover art, video playback, and more - all controllable from a single remote. Other features unique to the LUXv2™ are its AV component styling and quiet performance. With detailed chrome feet, a high-end, brushed aluminum finish, and low operating noise of less than 33dBA, LUXv2™ can seamlessly blend into any room or environment.
"The LUXv2™ is perfect as a 'starter system' for many single zone projects where expandable storage is required," continues Cheung. "Whether a client is looking for a rack-mount or in-room system for a single main theater or a living room zone, LUXv2™ has every feature a high-end AV setup would need."
The LUXv2™ is shipping and available now for all VidaBox dealers.
