Press release
Kenosha, Wisconsin, United States, 06/17/2009 – Cinemar, Inc., a leading provider of affordable home automation and media management solutions since 2002, has announced an update to one of their flagship windows-based products entitled MusicLobby.
Users of prior versions will notice a complete overhaul in the look and feel of the interface as well as a brand new command set to allow for customizing every aspect of the user interface. MusicLobby also now has its own playback engine instead of requiring J River Media Center. With the appropriate sound card, MusicLobby can support playback of up to 16 simultaneous tracks. Other new additions include a graphic equalizer, vu meter, network CD ripping and Internet streaming.
Cinemar CEO Mario Cascio stated, "A significant amount of effort was placed on designing an interface that was easy-to-use without any assistance or instructions and still be able to filter through large collections extremely fast." A draggable alpha slider jumps users right to the first letter of the artist and a new and improved search engine filters through the collection instantly as you enter each search character. Browse by thumbnails or list view.
The interface mimics that of a jukebox. Playlists can be specified as your browsable collection. This limits what guests will see as they browse your music. This is a great way to filter out explicit albums and seasonal music while entertaining guests. The administrator can elect to remove tracks after they are played. They can also remove the volume controls and the play album buttons, similar to how a real jukebox functions.
MusicLobby is compatible with many popular media players like iTunes, Windows Media Player and J River Media Center. MusicLobby will seamlessly sync with existing media player playlists so users can continue to manage their collections with a product they are comfortable with.
MusicLobby can be enhanced even further by adding Cinemar's MLDMR (Digital Media Recognition) Subscription powered by AMG. This provides access to additional content beyond traditional MP3 tags, including artist biographies, cover art look-up, reviews, searching music by styles and tones and finding similar albums and artists.
Integration with popular multi-room music controllers and keypads from Russound and Nuvo Technologies are also supported.
MusicLobby is available immediately through the company's web site http://www.cinemaronline.com with a suggested list price of $99.99. Existing MusicLobby customers can upgrade for $39.99.
