the built-in 1-wire interface on the barionet is currently not "open", and it only supports the standard dallas 1-wire temp sensors. however, we have gotten around this in the past by using an RS232->1-wire converter and then send the necessary requests to the 1-wire network via RS232. -Adam

you could use additional barionets or other ip to serial converters to add additional "networked" serial ports that are controllable by the barionet. also, the current barionet firmware now supports up to 50 1-wire temperature sensors. we have a nice variety of compatible sensors if anyone is...
