    Thermostat for a heatpump/dehumidifier

The best thermostat for humidity control that I know of is Omnistat2000 from Leviton, which unfortunately has been discontinued. You may still be able to find it on ebay, at least the wired version. If do not have a communication wire ran into the thermostat location, then you'd need a zigbee...

    Denon AVR-S760H

We have only used Denon amps from the very early days, these are one of the best amps for playing classical music. I would second LarryLix in having a model that is equipped with ethernet or RS232 control option. These amps last very long time and the only reason for upgrade in our case was to...

Anyone migrated from Homeseer to Home Assistant?

This looks interesting, thanks! Has anyone on this board tried it?

Anyone migrated from Homeseer to Home Assistant?

I have been trying to find a HS replacement for years. I had tried HA several times, it keeps improving but it is fundamentally not designed as an automation server. Assistant is the proper name and it shows. I can do any automation I want via HS with minimal effort, but it has been a struggle...

    omnibus-omni2e number of flags

What do you mean by "flags"? Units? The omnibus is configured by a separate software and each device address corresponds to a unit number. You should be able to control as many units in PC access as you have configured in Omnibus.

    HDMI Over Cat 6

Looks like the unit may be defective? Try the system with a short cable near the TV. If that does not work, replace the unit.

Programming Somfy Shades with ELK M1

Also, have you Set the rotary switch to position 1? And the RS232 command strings do not have carriage return in the end, while 485 strings do.

Programming Somfy Shades with ELK M1

Debugging serial connection is a tedious exercise. Since you are making custom cables you may want to try and connect 485 terminals (A to A and B to B. You can also get a serial port program like Windmill to see what you receive on the port from your Elk. If you get nothing, that means you got...

Programming Somfy Shades with ELK M1

You have to connect  A and B Somfy pinouts to the A and B terminals on the M1XSP to use RS485 mode. You can also use the serial cable that came with Somfy and plug it into the serial port on M1XSP, then set the jumper to RS232.

Programming Somfy Shades with ELK M1

I am not sure where have you plugged the ethernet cable to on the Elk module, but the RS485 pinout connection is important to get right. The RS485 port on M1XSP is a wire only terminal, and the pinout on the Somfy is shown here...

    OmniPro II and Haiku replacement

HaikuHelper was a server for Omni, with an API and a web server. I have replaced it with the OmniBridge that publishes events on MQTT. With the Homebridge running on HomePod, what are the integration options?

    OmniPro II and Haiku replacement

Ano, what would be the substitute for HaikuHelper with the Homebridge solution? Or does it only replace Haiku?

    HAI-LEVITON DRIVEWAY SENSOR

You can monitor ebay to buy it, you can still find some on-line (maybe north of $400) or you can replace it with Dakota alert sensor and receiver with a relay that you can wire to one of the HAI zones.
