Hello. I've got several issues I'm dealing with. It's been years since I've needed to work with my elk system and rp2 software. My old pic crashed and I lost my rp2 database file. Currently my keypad is displaying "Serial exp trbl" not sure what went wrong but I'm not sure how to diagnose.
I am installing some SA switches right now. There seems to be 2 ways to wire a standard light. where the power runs to the switch first then on to the light OR where the power runs to the light and a switch leg runs down to the switch. I am dealing with the "switch leg" type. The "Standard...
I recently opened port 2601 on my router. I was able to reconfigure iphone/ekeypad app to connect over the internet. Very cool. I then thought...why don't I try to open the java page on my m1xep. I can't get to it...? Is there some additional config that I need to do to the panel?
Once again, thanks for putting me back on track. Thats all it was... the network address from upstart was what I needed in the global... Now I can resume installing switches... wish me luck!

Hey Guys. I've installed the PIM to the ELKM1 panel. Registered the device. Installed 2 light SA light switches. Downloaded and installed Upstart. Used Upstart to configure the 2 switches. Upstart has also found the PIM.
OK. I can control the switches with upstart but not through the...
I recently purchased the ELKM1 PCSPIM and a bunch of Simply Automated UPB Transceivers. I installed one switch and I am realizing that I cannot configure all of this with the Elk alone. Is this correct? I don't know why I thought I would be able to. Do I need to comfigure my devices seperately...
