    Brultech ECM-1240 Software Development

Sure has gone quiet again...on all fronts (even the Western one:)). Bump,bump... anybody heard anything from Brultech on the software front? Looks like at last check they were waiting on a newer version of the Dashboard from the developer, but an update on the site would be at least tell us...

    Z-Wave Question

Depending on conditions (how many internal walls etc.), as long as the controller is within 50' or so of the locks or whatever you're controlling; you should be good. Going out to distances beyond say 50-70' using another module between (dimmer, etc.) as a repeater would be a good idea.

Users of the "NET POWER" feature of Brultech ECM software

Nah, not quite that ummm, "retentive" :) Have had a Magnetek/PowerOne Aurora installed for about two years now, and a separate Prosine and battery backup in event of power outages (not uncommon, particularly wintertime). In the area of monitoring I was just trying to see how many watt hours...

Users of the "NET POWER" feature of Brultech ECM software

Just wondering how many others besides myself that have Grid-Tie Inverters and are using the ECM-1240 for monitoring? Specifically how much power do they actually consume at night, and during day/night transitions (or snow covered panels... :):( ), that cause its internal consumption to...

    Brultech ECM-1240 resistors

IMHEO (in my humble electrical opinion:)), you would be fine with that one. Its a 4/10th watt and since I doubt if most applications would produce a voltage across it more than a few milivolts, it doesn't have to dissipate much power.

    Brultech: Multiplex Cable

Nothing new heard on the software front either (from anyone....). A simple voicemail message saying "we're here but really busy" is better than unanswered calls...makes me wonder a bit if a "Life After People" scenario has occurred at Brultech... ;)

    Brultech website updated

Here's the Link for their Beta software stuff, but its now a bit dated... http://www.brultech.com/dashboard.html Still hoping now that the holidays are over, we see something new in the software department; but haven't had any unresolved problems yet with the Hardware. they've done a great job...

Just for a sanity check doublecheck here to make sure I read it right... ;) http://www.brultech.com/ecmsupportupdate.html

    Mac Net Metering Software?

The Brultech site mentions Mac software for the ECM-1240, any word, or is a Beta available?

    Brultech Software Sneak Peak

Got it running again, but had to wipe the PC clean and start again.

    Brultech Software Sneak Peak

I've got Engine 1.15 running OK, but it doesn't seem that the Dashboard, nor the Cassini software is seeing any local ports. The firewall has an exception to allow the port thru, but nothing is happening. Tried re-installing pretty much everything, but no joy....

    That did the trick, thanks:)

    Brultech Software Sneak Peak

Installed both the new Engine and Dashboard, but the Dashboard now wants a "Product Key"...
