I can answer that question.
First, note that the press release says "wireless" home control market. A little detail that's easy to miss.
Considering that, I'd say the numbers are:
UPB: 0%
X-10: 0%
Z-Wave: 60%
:)
edit: Personally, I wouldn't consider Insteon in the wireless home control...
Hey, a fellow asterisk enthusiast! Last time I mentioned it here all I got were confused stares
You can do paging/intercom with Asterisk. With asterisk 1.2.7.1 or later, there is a Page() command. See this:

It's a commercialization of a DoD technology: the VAB (Variable Action Button) panel.
Pretty cool. I wonder how much it costs. I'll bet it's expensive.
Are you kidding? There are TONS of misterhouse-users (including myself). Not many hang out here, but the MH-users mailing list has pretty high traffic (of the good kind) and is full of HA expertise. I highly recommend joining it.

Rupp, the article says $1000, which I assume is the 4-source 4-zone kit.
upstatemike, does this answer your question?
Feature-wise, it's about the same as NuVo Simplese. Looks like price will be similar too.
Correction: Zon has absolutely nothing to do with A-BUS; the only thing in common is how you need to wire for it (Cat-5 from hub to amplified controls, then speaker wire to speakers).
Zon has far more features than A-Bus and in fact has several cool unique features. For example, like the other...
