Is an ELO 1525 an ELO 1525??

I'm looking to pick up one more touchscreen....even though I currently have 3, and I'm not using any of them... ;)

But our house has places wired for 4, so I figured I'd get one more. I have 2 fujitsu's and 1 ELO 1525 screen. I like the ELO's a lot, and I think I'd rather go that route than get another fujitsu.

There are many ELO's on ebay....and I can't quite decipher the many letters after "1525"....so can I feel reasonably safe that as long as it's an ELO, then I'll be able to use it effectively as an HA touchscreen? Or are certain models of ELO pure HA death? For that matter, if the 15xx means 15", then should I be concerned if it's a 24, 25, 29 after that?

Yes, those 2 numbers could be a different form factor or specifications. Best bet is to look up the part # you want info on.

Hey, look what I stumbled upon on their website:

Explanation of P/N Description
Example: ET152aL-bcWd-1-ee-MfCg-T

ET = Entuitive
15 = 15 inch display
2 = Desktop
a = PM designation for model number
L = LCD monitor
b = 3 for Surface Capacitive, 7 for AccuTouch, 8 for IntelliTouch, 9 for CarrollTouch
c = S for serial controller, U for USB controller, C for combo controller (USB and Serial)
W = Worldwide agencies
d = Revision number
1 = Antiglare glass
M = MSR unit
f = 2 = MSR USB HID
f = 3 = MSR USB Keyboard emulation
C = Customer Display
g = 2 = 2x20 vacuum florescent USB customer display
g = 3 = 12.1" LCD No-touch
g = 4 = 12.1" LCD with IntelliTouch touch screen/USB controller only
T = Tall stand
ee = Color
BG = Beige
GY = Dark gray

now that should help!

Can anyone tell me if I should care if I get an Accutouch or Intellitouch, as far as using it for an HA touchscreen? Any meaningful difference between them?
