Elk M1 not talking to ISY for lighting commands

I just installed a new Elk M1G and an ISY 99i, it seems that the ISY can see the ELK m1 Arm Status & arm and disarm the alarm but the M1 cant control any of the lighting that I imported. I see them in the Elk Web Keypad but when i Click on them or try and change the brightness nothing happens.

Make sure you have your isy setup with the correct port (2101) and Elk Ip address. Try rebooting your systems. See what Michel at UD forums has to say if that doesn't work. Seems like if ISY sees the ready/not ready armed/not armed status, the other stuff should work. I can't think of anything else I needed to configure to get mine working.

One thing that still bites me from time to time is forgetting that when ElkRP is running, there is no communication with the ISY. I'll be working away creating some new rule, download it to the M1G, try to test the trigger conditions, and nothing happens. Invariably, I'll think the rule is wrong, so I'll work on making changes, with no result. Finally, my hand will hit my head and I'll remember to tell ElkRP to disconnect from the control, and then suddenly everything starts working.

I have so done that a million times. But I don't think that is our friends problem since the Elk status and arm/disarm code spot disappear when ElkRP is connected.

I've read in other posts that when ElkRP, communications wont work. I always have it closed when trying to test. It seems like, ISY can talk to Elk, but Elk cant talk back to ISY. Even when I arm the Elk from the ISY Admin Console, it doesn't reflect the status update, but the Elk does Arm itself. I am using port 2101 and the correct IP, I have rebooted the ISY and also upgrade the Elk and M1XEP to the latest firmwares. What is also strange, the imported lighting shows some lights as on, some as off but it doesn't match up to the real status of the switches. I have tried triggering ISY from rules and the web keypad, neither work.

Figured it out, found another post on UD forums which referenced turning on some checkboxes in Globals on the elk, this fixed the issue. The checkboxes defined what communications were sent over the serial link.
