Anyone have any idea why I cannot get Elk RP to install on my machine running XP? This is the error I get.
An Error [-5001 : Oxffffec75] has occured while running setup. Please be sure that you have finished any previous setup, and have closed other aplications. This is a fresh install, and no other applications are running. This is ectrememly frustrationg, as I have installed it on this machine before, but recently had to reload XP with a fresh copy, so all data was gone. |

I beleive that RP is baised with an access back end and needs the access runtime components so if the computer has office installed maybe it didnt complete this install? so it cant start the installer

AHHHH,
Figured it out. For some reason, my firewall wasnt letting it install. Once I disabled it, it works fine. Go Figure?? |
