If it was my house, I'd use cat6, if pulling new cable is difficult.

Of course, depending on the use - intercoms, DA keypads, who cares, right? It's not like new equipment will require cat6, ever.

Well, maybe...

What connectors? Not all are created equal. You might screw yourself using crappy connectors.

But I appreciate your sharing that great deal - a bunch of people will jump on it, for sure.
